Why People Matter Most

Following recent reflections on trust, discipline, transparency and quality within Bridging Finance, another reality becomes clear - none of these principles exist without the right people behind them.
Recruitment is not simply about filling roles. It is about building a team that shares high standards, values accountability, and genuinely cares about the quality of work delivered. People are a business’s strongest asset. They shape credibility far more than any process or system ever could.
At Inhale Capital, as a relatively new business, this presents both opportunity and challenge. Culture is being built in real time, expectations are being set early, and conscious decisions are being made about how the team works together. That includes prioritising time in the office, not out of tradition, but because collaboration, learning and trust often develop more quickly face-to-face, particularly within a growing organisation.
It may not always be the easiest stance in today’s flexible working landscape, but culture, cohesion and shared momentum matter, especially when building something new.
